Zain Ramadan 2018 Commercial - سيدي الرئيس

Kuwaiti Telecom brand Zain came out with another interesting Commercial which has been trending on 1 on Youtube in Kuwait for the last 10 days. With views at 6.8 millions on Zain youtube channel and views upto 5 million on various other youtube channels.

The title of the advert has been kept simply as 'Zain Ramadan 2018 Commercial - Mr. President', which is kind of enigmatic as it does not give any insight into the commercial. This has led to some amazing reactions by Youtube Reactors across the globe. From East to West, across the spectrum, even the Arab world is giving in their reactions. Zain is a Kuwaiti Telecommunications company that was founded in 1983, originally known as MTC - Mobile Telecommunications Company and rebranded with the name Zain in 2007. In 2010, it sold its Zain Africa operations for $10.7 billion to Bharti Airtel with over 40 million customers. Currently, Zain has a presence of 47 million customers across 8 countries.

Viral Trend Karma is a bitch challenge

Another viral trend has popped up which is a mixed up version of a few things. The Karma is a bitch challenge shows sign of starting from the Chinese video app 'Dou Yin' in January 2018. The challenge comprises of a small video clip of a before and after (transformation), similar to the 'Don't Judge me challenge' with the background music which is itself a mashup. The Mashup is known as Antique Gucci Cryptex Mashup which is a flip of Beats Antique's glorious 'I Got' and Kreayshawn's 'Gucci Gucci' created in 2011.

The wording 'Karma is a bitch' come from the Netflix Series 'Riverdale' Season 2 Episode 6 and then follows with the music & transformation.

Invisible Box Challenge Viral Trend

The reigniting of the invisible box challenge started after the cheer leader for The Manvel Mavericks attempted it and tweeted it after which the internet made it viral on December 1, 2017.
Cheerleader Ariel Olivar was quoted as saying, "My football team, The Manvel Mavericks, played their round three of playoffs game at Waller Stadium against Cedar Park High School. Just before the game, my cheer team recalled the original video on Twitter and we decided to try it out. We all started trying it and I only did it a few times and supposedly it was pretty good. We decided to record it for the fun of it so I posted it on my snapchat story. The idea of the 'part two' came from my teammate where she 'kicked the box' out from under me."

She followed it up with part 2 which was equally hilarious & creative.

Like every year, people try recalling how the whole year went by. Nowadays with Youtube and camera phones, people have hundreds of things that they can recall and summarize into one video, popularly known as Rewind. Animated Short: Le Gouffre (The Gulf)

Le Gouffre is the first animated short film produced and directed by Lightning Boy Studio, a young creative team based in Montreal. The film tells the story of two spirited travelers who come across an incredibly wide chasm on their journey and decide to build a bridge to cross it. Released in February 2015, the project had first gained a lot of attention following the huge success of its Kickstarter campaign, which allowed the creators to finance the movie’s post-production. Many were impressed by the passion and determination of the small team of three animators, who spent more than two full years creating the 10-minute film.
As of now, Le Gouffre has been selected in more than 60 festivals around the world and won nine awards, four of them for “Best Animated Short”. For the complete list of selections and awards, please head over to the Awards page.

The Team
Lightning Boy Studio was born in 2012 out of a shared passion: to tell great stories. The three founders met in animation school in 2009 and have dreamed ever since to be able to work together on projects of their own. Le Gouffre was the result of their first collaboration.

The next in GoPro - 6

GoPro brings us another set of amazing features and products with their latest release (28/09/2017). The more 2x performance Hero6 along with features like 4K60 and advanced stabilization, better image quality, more fun with slow motion and introducing Touch Zoom. The major upgrade comes in the QuikStories which helps in making Story using the GoPro app which automatically edits the footage that has been sent to the phone from the Hero6 (upgrades to the sharing have also taken place).  The QuikStory creates an epic video with music and effects using GPS location, time stamps, faces, audio and accelerometers to make a well coordinated story line. #QuikStories is the hashtag to check out already created content.

The other beautiful thing that comes out is FUSION. It captures immersive 360° videos in 5.2K to play back as VR. As the saying goes FUSION - Relive Reality. This will bring us a step closer to reality in VR. Experiencing adventures in VR is a whole new feel and closeness one can get.

The epic live action trailer in itself is great as we get to see some amazing footages (Middle Earth Universe) but to drop an interactive trailer so as we get the message of where the story is moving towards, is downright genius. Down below is the Teaser for the Shadow of War, Friend or Foe.

The live action trailer really sets the mood with the settings of Mordor and that too in the middle of the battlefield and leading a fight between the humans and the orcs. Released on 18/09/2017

This time the setting of the fight is with human leading an army of orcs (army of Orcs amass under the rule of man) against the orcs that are invading Mordor.

Playing Hitman in Live Action

The popular stealth video game series developed by IO Interactive widely available across Microsoft Windows and others platforms. The 17 years history with 6 releases on Windows and also 2 releases over mobile application and also adaptations into two movie releases. The musical score of the games are composed by Jesper Kyd which features a mix of Orchestral and Electronica musical scores. The following is Trailer from the latest HITMAN game (Wikipedia and Wikia).

Now comes the Live Action version of the game, when a set of Youtubers were given control of Agent 47 to play a particular mission. Realm Pictures, the ones responsible for creating the 'real life first person shooter' video which went viral was roped in by IO interactive to create a similar but broader & bigger experience.
