Kuwaiti Telecom brand Zain came out with another interesting Commercial which has been trending on 1 on Youtube in Kuwait for the last 10 days. With views at 6.8 millions on Zain youtube channel and views upto 5 million on various other youtube channels.

The title of the advert has been kept simply as 'Zain Ramadan 2018 Commercial - Mr. President', which is kind of enigmatic as it does not give any insight into the commercial. This has led to some amazing reactions by Youtube Reactors across the globe. From East to West, across the spectrum, even the Arab world is giving in their reactions. The live action trailer really sets the mood with the settings of Mordor and that too in the middle of the battlefield and leading a fight between the humans and the orcs. Released on 18/09/2017

This time the setting of the fight is with human leading an army of orcs (army of Orcs amass under the rule of man) against the orcs that are invading Mordor.

Volvo Trucks at it again - The Flying Passenger

Volvo Trucks show its latest technology in the most impressive way.

Volvo trucks show off their Volvo FH truck's technology by demonstrating the performance of D13 engine and I-shift Dual Clutch Gearbox. The whole Live Test was set up and fully supervised with precision stunts. The professional Para-glider, Guillaume Galvani and the 12 year veteran Volvo truck driver, Louise Marriott pulled off this live test.

The impressive thing about Volvo Trucks live tests are that they do get the point across about the performance and the latest technology being used in the field of transportation. We get to see how the trucks function in different circumstances and what one is getting into.

It is amazing to see a Para-glider (professional) gliding using the back of a Volvo Truck and enjoying a joy ride all the way uphill even under a bridge (all performed under strict supervision - so don't try this as extreme sports). I am sure the experience by the driver was a new one (also a memorable one) as one does keep the truck load in mind but definitely not a flying passenger that too behind the truck.

During one of the previous Live Tests by Volvo Trucks, 'The Epic Split' and others; one of the kids watching the JCVD's The Epic Split stated that the advertisement is great as it wants me to purchase not one but two Volvo trucks to perform the Epic Split. (That was definitely hilarious as a different perspective was put forth).

Phone texting while driving awareness

The rise of mobile/cellphone usage has made for some changes or interesting developments in varieties of fields including safety. Cellphone related accidents have risen over the years and are at its peak. People spending time on their cellphone is on the rise, therefore more and more are being used in daily routines. Walking and travelling on different modes of transportation like buses, taxis, subways, trains, airplanes and others have become a common sight to see. Initially texting by SMS was an issue but adding to this, are the social media mobile applications which are pushing people to use more and more of their cellphone. The added usage of unlimited characters of text, photos and video sharing have led to an extended period of usage of cellphones. The assumption of people that they can multi task while driving has let them to use their cellphones, thinking that they are in full control of the situation. But as statistics show, more number of accidents are on the rise due cellphone usage. Below is a video of Responsible Young Drivers (RYD) Belgium. where under control environment, the drivers are asked to type a text while driving. I am sure the point went across to the drivers.

Recently a video has been put up by New Zealand transport agency with regard to the awareness of phone texting. The use of Lionel Richie's Hello to convey the message about putting the life of the passenger first is amazing. The main message to convey is Drive Phone free.

A similar video like RYD Belgium awareness video was made by AT&T to educate teens about driving while texting. These video cover the message in a positive or a lighter tone compared to PSA videos which show the horrific condition if one gets into an accident due to cellphone usage.

Decent commercial advertisement face-off

France brings us a commercial advertisement face-off which shows how creativity and decency is kept without verbal abuse of each other's products. Many can learn from this. Initially, McDonald put up an advertisement with signboards about the number of McDrive (Drive Thru) and distance closest to the signboard along with the signboard of Burger King Drive Thru which are limited due to late entry into the French market. Burger King's response to the video is very nicely put by continuing and giving a nice ending to it. The release of this advertisement took place 4 days since McDonald's McDrive Thru advertisement release.

M&Ms celebrate 75 years

Kids have always loved chocolates and so do adults. Memories remind us that we could eat chocolates without getting it all over our fingers and palm due to candy covered chocolates like M&Ms. They are celebrating, completing 75 years with the Remix of their original song 'The Candy Man' sung by Sammy Davis Jr.. Hyundai Motorsport 2016 Stop Motion Animation

 Hyundai has come up with a beautiful Stop Motion Animation of an i20 conquering the 2016 World Rally Championship. It is definitely a tedious work to make a Stop Motion Animation but the final results make it worth each of the 30 frames that take to make one second of the video.

Clash of Clans Ads

This is a popular game on the smart phones. The Finnish company Supercell created 'Clash of Clans' and released it in 2012 for Iphones and in 2013 for Android based phones. It is a freemium mobile massively multiplayer online strategy game. For more information on the game you can check out the links at the end of the post. The game has become popular and has started to make advertisement campaigns. One was released during Super bowl TV in February 2015 staring Liam Neeson. Have a look below.

Now they have come up with a new set of ads with a new strategy in mind. They are narrating real games that took place in a story telling matter with game graphics. It just looks amazing. The narration is being done by Christoph Waltz and also stars James Corden. (Legend of the Last Lava Pup)

With Christmas around the corner, the advertisements have started to kick in. U.K. Retailer 'John Lewis' came out with an advertisement themed 'Man on the Moon'. Have a look at the video below

Only if the story had ended there, one of the earliest parody of the advertisement was up and about within hours. 'The Poke' came up with a Man on the moon - Star wars parody and uploaded it on Youtube which was taken down in 3 hours time and then again after clearing the fair usage policy stating that they did not offend either John Lewis fans or Star Wars fan was able to get video back online(Also no profits are being made from the video). Connection between a mother and a child

The unique and beautiful connection between a mother and child truly cannot be summarized in a single video but a small fraction can be seen in the experiment conducted by Pandora Jewelry in their project 'The Unique Connection'. The kids are blind folded (of course with the permission of the mothers and in their presence) and asked to find their mother.

The video gives a small (very small) tribute to mothers around the world. The most amazing things about the video is that anyone can watch this video as language does not play a role. Similarly another video was put up and you can watch it below. (My first thought was that it was an advertisement for jeans or for a fashion line)

Across the internet many more videos are popping up with similar experiments being conducted. What I notice is that many parents are creating this kind of experiment at parties as an interesting party event. I am not sure whether it should be conducted, as i am sure many factors are considered when they do the above experiment. I am worried about the effect the child or the mother will go through if the outcome is unfavourable. Our society is not a supportive one (creative criticism).
