First Person Point of View Feature Film - What more is there to say? Ilya Naishuller is the writer-director of this movie that is set to release on 8th April 2016. I had previously written about First Person POVs in another post with online crowd funding helping creators and film makers. For the post, CLICK HERE. Now the trailer for Hardcore Henry, have a look below.

STX Entertainment is working on bringing a unique concept to filmography. I am sure the movie will be wonderful and also am hoping that it will be compatible with VR sets (Virtual Reality) so that the feeling will be amplified. Anyways, for more details check the links below:

Kung Fury - Crowd Funded Movie

Photo Courtesy of Kung Fury Youtube.
Kung Fury is a Kickstarter campaign - crowd funded project which was launched in December 2013, backed by 17,000 people who together gave more than $630,000 (US Dollars) has finally been released (28th May 2015). Written and Directed by David Sandberg. The description on its youtube page is as follows:
Kung Fury is an over-the-top 80’s action comedy that was crowd funded through Kickstarter. It features Kung Fury, a Kung Fu renegade cop who travels back in time to kill his Nemesis, Hitler. The film features nazis, dinosaurs, vikings and cheesy one-liners.
I am really interested in seeing how this crowd funded project proves in the coming days or weeks. Even, David Hasselhoff is part of the project by performing in the lead track 'True Survivor' which was released on 16th April 2015 on his official VEVO account. Below is the official video of the lead track.

There are many videos about the making and the reviews done with regard to the movie. You can check them out if one is more interested, in how the things got done. It definitely will be a learning experience.

First POV Action Movie - Hardcore

Photo Courtesy to Bitingelbows - First POV Action Movie Hardcore
We have played many games which are First Person Point of View (POV) like Counter Strike, Soldier of Fortune, Grand Theft Auto, Hitman and so many others. Ilya Naushuller is directing a First POV Action Movie and he has completed all the shooting. The movie currently is in Post-Production. For some post-production related stuff, they have turned to Crowd Funding site Indiegogo for assistance on the post-production. Below is the Video from the movie which is quiet interesting. CLICK HERE if the below embedded video is not working. (Disclaimer/Caution and Warning: The following video is using strong language and graphic scenes.)
The creators (Biting Elbows) had previously made a video a two years back, one can view that video for their First POV which was released as a music Video. CLICK HERE for Part 1 and CLICK HERE for part 2, if the below video is not working. (Disclaimer/Caution and Warning: The following video is using strong language and graphic scenes)
Part 1 - The Stampede (Official Music Video)
Part 2 - Bad MotherF****r (Official Music Video)
The Camera Rig the creators have come up for shooting the POV is amazing with the GoPro Hero cameras being used. It is definitely difficult to shoot the entire action movie with the GoPro cameras along with the camera rig which has resulted in a lot of GoPro' getting damaged. Below is the picture of the Camera Rig setup.

I came across this video on Nerd Alert on their Youtube Channel - CLICK HERE if the below video does not work. They did the review on this.
