With the success of Studio C's 'Top Soccer Shootout Ever with Scott Sterling', the next installment has been released on Youtube, only this time Scott Sterling takes on in a volley ball match. Kung Fury is a Kickstarter campaign - crowd funded project which was launched in December 2013, backed by 17,000 people who together gave more than $630,000 (US Dollars) has finally been released (28th May 2015). Written and Directed by David Sandberg. The description on its youtube page is as follows:
Kung Fury is an over-the-top 80’s action comedy that was crowd funded through Kickstarter. It features Kung Fury, a Kung Fu renegade cop who travels back in time to kill his Nemesis, Hitler. The film features nazis, dinosaurs, vikings and cheesy one-liners.
I am really interested in seeing how this crowd funded project proves in the coming days or weeks. Even, David Hasselhoff is part of the project by performing in the lead track 'True Survivor' which was released on 16th April 2015 on his official VEVO account. This video got released on November 14th, 2014 and was circulated over the internet not knowing whether it was an original or a parody. The Studio C crew got to take revenge on Jason Gray as the initial proposal that the cast of Studio C would receive some painful punishments if the Hunger games Musical: Mockingjay Parody - Peeta's Song video reached 1 million views by a certain date. Unfortunately for Jason, the Top Soccer Shootout Ever with Scott Sterling video reached 1 million views before the hunger games video. As a result, the whole cast got to enact a punishment on Jason. Enjoy seeing the revenge video below.
