The Videos that interest me over the Internet, could be Viral videos or Animated or 'Something to learn from' or Just plain funny. Not meant to offend anybody.
With Christmas around the corner, the advertisements have started to kick in. U.K. Retailer 'John Lewis' came out with an advertisement themed 'Man on the Moon'. Have a look at the video below
Only if the story had ended there, one of the earliest parody of the advertisement was up and about within hours. 'The Poke' came up with a Man on the moon - Star wars parody and uploaded it on Youtube which was taken down in 3 hours time and then again after clearing the fair usage policy stating that they did not offend either John Lewis fans or Star Wars fan was able to get video back online(Also no profits are being made from the video). The Sun in Ultra High Definition - 4k Resolution (2160 pixel). NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) keeps an eye on our sun. In Space, the observatory captures 10 different wavelength of our sun, each of which help highlight a different temperature of the solar material. (Naturally just pointing the camera to the sun is just like pointing a camera to a bright light bulb). The amazing thing is that a team of media specialists worked ten hours to create one minute of the footage. The following video is for the people who are solar or sun enthusiast and want to get up close and personal with the sun and understand how the sun behaves, this is the video. Also for those people who want to test their Ultra HD TV or 4K TV can have an amazing experience seeing this on it. (CLICK HERE for the NASA website) By the way it is a 30 minute footage.
Today, is the day Marty McFly traveled to the future in 'Back to the Future 2' - 21st October 2015. The internet is going on about this subject. The important point is that what predictions (more like assumptions) of a particular futuristic date and what we would have accomplished during that time is the main concern. Its like when countries and government come up with 5 year plans or 2020 target or 2030 or even 2050. Do we accomplish our things that we sent our mind to. I feel it is more like New Year Resolutions - what we have achieved during the previous year and will that drive us to accomplish anything during the rest of the 365 days. Some of the interesting set of videos to look out for the above subject are shown below.
The above video by Fine Brothers on Youtube give us a feel about how the young generation imagine what it will be like in the future - Things we imagine about the future as against what is really in the future. Example, flying cars were to be a thing in 2015 in 'Back to the future 2', but we are still way away from having a commercially viable flying car. Another video is about the Time Paradox effect of Time travelling by 'How it Should Have Ended'
Scientists usually say that we can make things happen or make but creativity and ideas are of those of writers. Similarly, the movies give a lot of ideas and many try to make them into reality, be it hoverboards or adjusting jackets. Below is a video on the adjusting jackets created by Instructables.
Lexus came up with the most realistic & believable hoverboard video. The only thing for that to happen is the whole mechanism is placed below the hoverboard track with super cooled - super conductors - super magnetism concept to make it happen. There are multiple videos - 'It's Here', 'The Ride', 'The Science' , 'The Story', 'Hoverpark', 'Evolution' and 'Testing'.
Toyota pays homage to the Back to the Future series by promoting its new Mirai Hydrogen Fuel Car in an advertisement which stars Michael J. Fox (Marty McFly) and Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown). Toyota made couple of videos leading to the main video - The Science behind Fueled by the Future, Fueled by the Future: 15, Diner, Clocks, and Statler Toyota 2015. Details of the advertisement can be seen HERE.
The unique and beautiful connection between a mother and child truly cannot be summarized in a single video but a small fraction can be seen in the experiment conducted by Pandora Jewelry in their project 'The Unique Connection'. The kids are blind folded (of course with the permission of the mothers and in their presence) and asked to find their mother.

The video gives a small (very small) tribute to mothers around the world. The most amazing things about the video is that anyone can watch this video as language does not play a role. Similarly another video was put up and you can watch it below. (My first thought was that it was an advertisement for jeans or for a fashion line)

Across the internet many more videos are popping up with similar experiments being conducted. What I notice is that many parents are creating this kind of experiment at parties as an interesting party event. I am not sure whether it should be conducted, as i am sure many factors are considered when they do the above experiment. I am worried about the effect the child or the mother will go through if the outcome is unfavourable. Our society is not a supportive one (creative criticism). The video below is from 'inside edition' which explains about Pandora - The unique connection video.

We have seen the solar system model during our studies in schools and colleges, visits to planetariums, movies and internet. Turns out they are not in exact scale size. So a team of people tried to make it to scale size but needed a large open area to make us understand the size of the planet and sun and the path of the planet around the sun. The chose the open desert area of Nevada (U.S.A).

The team uploaded the behind the scenes and also the hard work they put up together to create the video. For our own understanding, we have always been taught how big the planets are and how far things are from each other. But to see a scale version gives us the understanding of enormity of the solar system or better yet the universe.

I hope these videos can be shown in schools and colleges to give us a better understanding and make us feel that Physics is cool and easy to understand.

I came across this article on Wonderful Engineering and the original video was created by the Business Insider. This shows the real backbone of our Network which caters to 99% of the communication around the world. The video below shows all the existing undersea cables laid down between locations.
Wonderful engineering article information below
Most of the internet communication is still done with the help of high-speed underwater cables. While some of us are lucky to use satellite communication directly, the fact remains that these cables are the backbone of today’s connected world. Their importance can be gauged from the fact that when a country experiences a breakdown of these cables, the internet is choked, and every online work is halted, leading to a massive backlog.
The total length of these underwater cables is close to an astonishing 885,000 kilometers. It means that these lines can circumnavigate the world more than 22 times. It has almost 99 % data circulating throughout the world from social media newsfeeds to sensitive military information.
Getting your point across to make people understand your business is what advertisements are suppose to do. But when a business tries to get in touch with each individual customer, then it is something in the right direction. A used car dealer in Taiwan - Kagulu came up with moving advertising truck as a Price Scanner which made instant estimation of the vehicle one is driving. Give it a look, the advertisement is in Taiwanese, but keep the caption on to read the English subtitles.

The above advertisement is said to be inspired (having traces of) from the Audi - Instant Valuation Billboard advertisement. It is amazing to see the expressions on people faces when they feel the advertisement is directly connecting with them on an individual level.
