GoPro brings us another set of amazing features and products with their latest release (28/09/2017). The more 2x performance Hero6 along with features like 4K60 and advanced stabilization, better image quality, more fun with slow motion and introducing Touch Zoom. The major upgrade comes in the QuikStories which helps in making Story using the GoPro app which automatically edits the footage that has been sent to the phone from the Hero6 (upgrades to the sharing have also taken place).  The QuikStory creates an epic video with music and effects using GPS location, time stamps, faces, audio and accelerometers to make a well coordinated story line. #QuikStories is the hashtag to check out already created content.

The other beautiful thing that comes out is FUSION. It captures immersive 360° videos in 5.2K to play back as VR. As the saying goes FUSION - Relive Reality. This will bring us a step closer to reality in VR. Experiencing adventures in VR is a whole new feel and closeness one can get.

The launch of Fusion should make some amazing 360° videos that upload to Social media (Like Facebook, Youtube and others) an amazing experience as most current cameras on the market just capture HD or around that. The amazing experience with Fusion is, to forget pointing the camera at a particular direction and just spending the time experiencing the adventure. This freedom will help in producing some amazing videos. See the below video in 360°.

GoPro has been bringing their A game in portable high definition cameras. Their latest upgrades have not been disappointing. Examples: Waterproofing for certain depth which helps a lot during surfing, kayaking, swimming, jet-skiing and others. Another amazing feature of their Hero5 is the LCD which was missing previously due to their compact size and power backup. They have maintained their quality and upped their game in the video features also. The latest addition to the GoPro is Karma - flying drone with stabilizer. Have a look at the amazing video which was completely shot on GoPro Hero5.

Kids have always loved chocolates and so do adults. Memories remind us that we could eat chocolates without getting it all over our fingers and palm due to candy covered chocolates like M&Ms. They are celebrating, completing 75 years with the Remix of their original song 'The Candy Man' sung by Sammy Davis Jr.. Have a look and let the memories flow and with this being released on 29th February 2016 on a Leap day makes another memorable experience.

Clean it like never before - Cillit Bang

This new advertisement for Cillit Bang makes the age old dancing while cleaning with the music being heard using earphones/headphones, a nostalgic touch of the 80s. Finally making a cleaning product interesting without destroying a competitors name is a nice welcome. Have a look at the video below (Cillit Bang - The Mechanic).

The Sun in UHD 4K

The Sun in Ultra High Definition - 4k Resolution (2160 pixel). NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) keeps an eye on our sun. In Space, the observatory captures 10 different wavelength of our sun, each of which help highlight a different temperature of the solar material. (Naturally just pointing the camera to the sun is just like pointing a camera to a bright light bulb). The amazing thing is that a team of media specialists worked ten hours to create one minute of the footage. The following video is for the people who are solar or sun enthusiast and want to get up close and personal with the sun and understand how the sun behaves, this is the video. Also for those people who want to test their Ultra HD TV or 4K TV can have an amazing experience seeing this on it. (CLICK HERE for the NASA website) By the way it is a 30 minute footage.

The Badass Inc Game

Photo Courtesy to Motion Twin - Badass Inc.

Just came across this game and thoroughly enjoyed the retro feel i got of Pixel art and 2D gaming. You can play it online or even download it. The music adds to the feel to the game. Without much going in details, I will suggest that one should play it, can take anywhere from 10 mins to 30 mins depending how one tackles the game. The more I say will end up in the zone of spoilers. Also, another information to be kept in mind is that some swear words are used, so beware your kids. The only thing I can give for now is the trailer below.

Edge of Stability

Amazing time lapse footage from places across the planet. The video was uploaded on 10/07/2015.

Photo Courtesy to Jeff Boyce (All right reserved by him)

Jeff Boyce quotes in his vimeo site

A result of over 70,000 individual high resolution photos and nearly 20,000 miles of driving, "Edge of Stability" highlights some of the most unique, awe-inspiring, and incredibly strange sights on the planet. Recorded entirely over Spring of 2015, scenes include storm chasing adventures across 15 US states, displays of the Milky Way over desert landscapes, and the amazing Aurora Borealis over Canada.

The equipment I used includes two Canon 6D's, paired usually with a Rokinon 14mm f/2.8, Rokinon 24mm f/1.4, and a Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8.

Amazing Sun TimeLapse NASA SDO

NASA SDO

In honor of SDO's fifth anniversary, NASA has released a video showcasing highlights from the last five years of sun watching. Watch the movie to see giant clouds of solar material hurled out into space, the dance of giant loops hovering in the corona, and huge sunspots growing and shrinking on the sun's surface. February 11, 2015 marks five years in space for NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory, which provides incredibly detailed images of the whole sun 24 hours a day. Capturing an image more than once per second, SDO has provided an unprecedentedly clear picture of how massive explosions on the sun grow and erupt ever since its launch on Feb. 11, 2010. The imagery is also captivating, allowing one to watch the constant ballet of solar material through the sun's atmosphere, the corona.

First POV Action Movie - Hardcore

Photo Courtesy to Bitingelbows - First POV Action Movie Hardcore

We have played many games which are First Person Point of View (POV) like Counter Strike, Soldier of Fortune, Grand Theft Auto, Hitman and so many others. Ilya Naushuller is directing a First POV Action Movie and he has completed all the shooting. The movie currently is in Post-Production. For some post-production related stuff, they have turned to Crowd Funding site Indiegogo for assistance on the post-production. Below is the Video from the movie which is quiet interesting. CLICK HERE if the below embedded video is not working. (Disclaimer/Caution and Warning: The following video is using strong language and graphic scenes.)

The creators (Biting Elbows) had previously made a video a two years back, one can view that video for their First POV which was released as a music Video. CLICK HERE for Part 1 and CLICK HERE for part 2, if the below video is not working. (Disclaimer/Caution and Warning: The following video is using strong language and graphic scenes)

Part 1 - The Stampede (Official Music Video)

Part 2 - Bad MotherF****r (Official Music Video)

The Camera Rig the creators have come up for shooting the POV is amazing with the GoPro Hero cameras being used. It is definitely difficult to shoot the entire action movie with the GoPro cameras along with the camera rig which has resulted in a lot of GoPro' getting damaged. Below is the picture of the Camera Rig setup.
