Expression of an Artist

In 2010 at Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) - New York, a retrospective of artist Marina Abramović performing 'The Artist is Present', sitting in the museum’s atrium and inviting the swelling crowds of viewers to sit directly opposite her, in silent dialogue. One of the people from the crowd who sat across her was someone she had not seen in 22 years. The sudden expression of the artist is worth watching. Reunions. They are such kind of moments that remind one of Nostalgia. Check my other post of when a Burglary suspect comes across a classmate from middle school who also turns out to be the Judge presiding over his case at Miami Bond court. CLICK HERE.

This gets me wondering, where we may meet people from our past and what will be those circumstances. I have seen quiet a few in my own life and also of people around me. Most of the opinion I came across is Nostalgia & some momentary self-evaluation of my life leading to that moment.

Check my other post where an artist doing her retrospective at New York's Museum of Modern Arts comes across someone she had known 22 years earlier. The expression on the artist is worth watching. CLICK HERE.

Nature is speaking

Photo Courtesy to Nature is speaking - ConservationDotOrg.
These videos are making the rounds of the social media like facebook, twitter etc... basically the internet. One of the videos which has picked up is of Julia Roberts voicing for Mother Nature. Actually there are a lot more videos by many others. Conservation International came up with the idea of 'Nature is speaking' series with the different/various elements of earth that are present in nature and assist in our day to day existence AND we human take it for granted. We need to be thankful and considerate.

The latest addition on this list is of the actor "Liam Neeson is ICE". He is famous for his roles in many movies but recently for his movie tri-series 'Taken'. (I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.) For full quote, CLICK HERE. I am guessing that Conservation International must have seen his speaking skills and decided to star him in their new element video 'ICE'. Check the video out below.

Edge of Stability

Amazing time lapse footage from places across the planet. The video was uploaded on 10/07/2015.

Jeff Boyce quotes in his vimeo site

A result of over 70,000 individual high resolution photos and nearly 20,000 miles of driving, "Edge of Stability" highlights some of the most unique, awe-inspiring, and incredibly strange sights on the planet. Recorded entirely over Spring of 2015, scenes include storm chasing adventures across 15 US states, displays of the Milky Way over desert landscapes, and the amazing Aurora Borealis over Canada.

The equipment I used includes two Canon 6D's, paired usually with a Rokinon 14mm f/2.8, Rokinon 24mm f/1.4, and a Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8.
